Ever since the release of Halo 3, the Halo games came with Forge mode, a mode allowing players to create custom maps within the game with easy tools. Although crude in its first state, it rapidly evolved with Halo: Reach and Halo 4. Combined with my interest for level design, I have spent countless hours in Forge mastering the controls and creating levels in Halo 3, Halo: Reach and Halo 4.

Although crude and imprecise at first, I rapidly got to design plans and create more levels of quality consistently. Some of these also went through playtests with my Halo clan, for use during our game nights.

After the PC release of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V, the Rockstar Game Editor was released, allowing players to create races and deathmatches which can then be shared with others. Although very limited in options, it allowed for fun custom content, limiting the players' weapons arsenal or play in locations previously not accessible in deathmatches.
